About the studio
Studio Binoli is a multidisciplinary surface design studio that approaches print as a way to connect – with people, materials, and the spaces we inhabit. Based in Ahmedabad, India, the studio works on custom and ready-to-print designs for fashion, home, lifestyle, and paper-based applications.
Each print begins with observation, conversation, and an understanding of context, and then develops into a visual language that is thoughtful and emotionally grounded. We combine hand-drawn processes with a refined digital approach to create surfaces that are expressive and intentional.

Meet the founder
Binoli Shah is a textile and surface designer based in Ahmedabad and the founder of the studio. A graduate of the National Institute of Design, her practice is rooted in a strong design instinct, a love for both the mundane and extraordinary, and a keen sensitivity to form, texture, and detail.
With over 8 years in the industry, Binoli’s sensibility flows effortlessly between aesthetics and function. Her work often begins with sketching or painting and is always led by design. She draws inspiration from anything that sparks curiosity - from a passing texture to her enduring love for stripes - and remains closely aligned with the identity of each project, rather than following trends.
